Coalition for Development of Northern Ghana (NORTHCODE-Ghana) is a Ghanaian non- governmental organization registered with the Registrar General’s Department of Ghana under the Companies Act 1963 (Act 179) with registration number CG006822018 and Tax Identification Number (TIN) C0010324968
The organization works to improve the environment, lives and livelihoods of the vulnerable, disadvantaged and excluded in Northern Ghana. NORTHCODE-Ghana places special focus on working alongside poor women, children and local communities because, equipped with the proper resources, they have the power to contribute towards alleviating poverty and diseases of societies at large.
The extremely vulnerable with least economic and social opportunities are at the heart of NORTHCODE- Ghana’s community-based efforts to improve agriculture production and value chains, market systems development and food security, promote gender equity, promote biodiversity conservation and livelihoods development and reinforcement, expand economic opportunities and protect natural resources.

History of Northern Voices
Our mission is to become a household community organization in Ghana run by youth in telling the Northern Story in a positive light as well as contributing to the growth and development of the Northern Society.
